Welcome to the SCP Foundation Pig Latin branch, where I (MasterTman2) have painstakingly manually translated pages that are way too long into Pig Latin purely for the meme because nobody will use this but haha funny it's Pig Latin, y'know?
It must be pretty daunting to look at all the gibberish on this website but have no fear! For English speakers, speaking, reading, and writing Pig Latin is very simple.
Writing
Step 1
Identify what kind of letter the word starts with.
Step 2
If it is a vowel, do nothing. If it's a consonant, take every consonant before the first vowel and place them after the word.
Step 3
If the word began with a vowel, just add "yay" to the end. If it was a consonant, add "ay" to the end.
Examples:
Okay -> Okayyay
Cow -> Owcay
Insane -> Insaneyay
Jump -> Umpjay
Reading
Reading is harder because context is needed to understand a lot of the words. But with enough practice reading will be just as easy as writing!
Step 1
Read the word. If it starts with a vowel and appears to be a normal English word but with "yay" at the end, just remove "yay" and you have your word.
Step 2
For words that originally started with a consonant, read the word and try to figure out where the original word ended. After you figure that out, remove the "ay" and place the consonant or consonant cluster back at the beginning of the word.
Examples:
Oomingzay -> Zooming
Appyhay -> Happy
Inyay -> In
Iyay -> I
